SUBJECT: Implementation of Emergency Fuel Surcharges – Effective April 6, 2026

At Surrette Battery Company Limited, we are committed to maintaining the highest service standards despite the current volatile global landscape. As you are aware, significant global supply chain disruptions—largely driven by recent geopolitical instability and conflict—have severely impacted international energy markets and transportation routes.
These events have led to a sharp increase in fuel costs and operational complexities across all shipping modes. To ensure we can continue to provide reliable capacity and maintain our delivery schedules, we will be implementing the following emergency fuel surcharges effective April 6, 2026:

| Full Truckload (TL) | $425 USD / $585 CAD (per load) |
| Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) | $25 USD / $35 CAD (per pallet) |
Key Considerations:
- Cause of Implementation: These charges are a direct result of increased voyage costs, fuel price spikes, and rerouting necessitated by disruptions at global chokepoints.
- Billing: The surcharge will appear as a separate line item on all invoices for shipments departing on or after April 6th.
- Temporary Measure: We view this as a temporary measure. We are closely monitoring the EIA diesel benchmarks and regional indices and will adjust or remove these surcharges as global supply chains stabilize.
